Getting Ready for the Weekend

After a couple of days off, the crew is hard at it, getting the mountain ready to re-open tomorrow, Friday, June 10. The ski patrol is cleaning up their closures and making appropriate adjustments. The lift crew is rebuilding all the snow load and unload ramps. The terrain park crew is re-establishing at least 4 rail features for the weekend. No jumps will be open. The cats driver are all over the mountain. I think you will find the groomed terrain in fine condition in the morning. Rode around in a snowcat with Tim on Wrangler, Sundance, High Noon, Humbug, Dercum's Gulch, Lenawee Face and the Cornice Run. All those trails looked great. We spotted about 10 mountain goats on Little Lenawee Peak (look closely at the top picture). I was wishing I had my skis with me. I'll be joining you on the hill first thing tomorrow for a few turns.
