The Basin now has a tram. It is nothing like the trams at Jackson, Squaw or Snowboard. It is a very simple explosive tram out by the 1st Tree Chute. The Ski Patrol built and will use the manually operated tram to deliver explosives to a couple of tricky spots. The tram is built to help manage a small area the patrollers have to climb through as they access the Tree Chutes Ridge to complete their avalanche missions. This will make a very difficult task a little bit easier.
