Building Lifts

We installed Zuma Lift in 2007, seven years ago. During the construction process, we tried to have as gentle a footprint on the land as we could. The lift tower foundations holes were dug with a spider hoe and back filled by hand. We did not build a road into the bowl. All materials were delivered either over snow, via helicopter, or by foot. Over the years we have been keeping a close eye on our re-vegetation efforts back there. They have been very successful. This lift tower almost looks like it grew out of the ground. Other than the tower and the sign, there is almost no evidence of disturbance.
