Let's Talk About The Next 3 Days

Maybe, let's talk about today first.

The Pali terrain, accessible from West Wall, re-opened today. I skied The Spine (thought that was over for the season). I experienced many faceshots. The snow is DEEEEEP. Since we reported 9 inches new this morning, it has snowed A LOT. The skiing is amazing. Check out the Snow Cam video on our website.

Pali Lift will re-open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I don't know about after that.

The skiing is incredible but, I have some very serious suggestions about visiting the next few days. It will be busy. Either get here very early or come in the afternoon. CARPOOL, CARPOOL, CARPOOL. The Summit Stage is running Saturday and Sunday. Ride it if you can. DO NOT PARK ON THE HIGHWAY.

The people that follow my suggestions are going to enjoy themselves. The people that don't are going to be unhappy. Don't be unhappy.

Do you anticipate uphill being open tomorrow morning?

Carpool isn't an option for me. Is there a good place to park near a Summit Stage stop?

scottj I think you can park at Keystone's River Run lot (they're not using it) and take the Swan Mountain Flyer route to A-basin on weekends. I'm not 100% sure though so you might want to call them up. here's a web site. http://summitcountyco.gov/586/Transit-Summit-Stage/

You can park at River Run in Keystone and catch the Summit Stage Saturday and Sunday. There is no bus service Friday.

Take a vehicle that still has its winter tires please. Many slowdowns, slide offs, and delays today because of unpreparedness. You can't actually ski if you end up in the ditch yo.

What are chances it'll still look good next weekend?

With this new snow, how are things likely to look next weekend? Coming in from out of town.

Supposed to warm up next week but skiing will still be great! I don't think people got the message to not park on the highway...I watched multiple cars being towed. I've never seen that many people at Abasin.
