Mother Nature, sometimes you love her, sometimes she tests you a bit. She tested us a bit today. Zuma Bowl opened about 10:45 this morning. The snow and the skiing was really good. It was, however, a bit chilly and windy. Unfortunately, the wind picked up even more and we ended up closing Zuma, Lenawee, and Pali Lifts for the afternoon. Those things happen, bummer. On the positive side, it was a good W-NW wind which favors most of the ski area. While I didn't get there myself, I heard the skiing on Pali, particularly on The Spine, was really good. So, we will try again tomorrow.
