There has been some heavy equipment on Wrangler and in the base area that is visible on the web cams. Xcel is replacing the powerline that runs from the A-Frame up to the bottom of Lenawee Mountain Lift. The old line is 35+ years old and had a tendency to fail at the worst possible time. While projects like these are not a whole lot of fun, I am excited to see it almost completed. Those past power outages wreak havoc on ski area operations and create some very long work days and nights for people. This is good.
