Snowmakers Are Busy

Came over the Pass yesterday and saw the crew setting up fan guns. They still have a lot of work to do this fall. Getting equipment ready and multiple tests on the system are still required. There might be one more vacation in there still. The objective is to be ready for that first cold snap in late September. Just a few more weeks.

......And before you ask, I don't know when we are opening yet.

is there any snow left thats going to make it through this winter too?

Look at the webcams. Looks like it all pretty much melted. Pretty typical for even the short summer in the Colorado High Country. So no, all of the snow from last winter, at least on the slopes of A-Basin is gone.

There is still some snow along Cornice Run. It might make it until next season's snow starts to fly.
