Today was another gorgeous day at The Basin. Again, I took another lap in Montezuma Bowl. The terrain covered by the snow cats continues to grow. After seeing another 24 hours of progress, I think it is fair to say we are one decent storm away. The upper portions of Larkspur and Columbine are outstanding. Close, Close, Close.

how close?
One decent storm.
Which runs do you think would open once the decent storm comes? Thanks!
I looked on your website but couldn't find it. What is you season snowfall so far this season compared to an average season? I really enjoy reading your blog! You have alot of fascinating things to say about A Basin. Always a pleasure reading.
I would also love to read some statistics and facts on snowfall YTD, annual average, etc. These are cool facts to know and while sitting on a lift chair they give you something to ponder, reflect and evaluate the day you are skiing :)
It seems like in recent years with all the tools and electronics we are really into the details and numbers, dits and stats ;)

OK, hate to be a pain, but is 7" over 2 days considered a "decent storm?" ;)
