Dark and Stormy

I am not talking about the drink. We have had some clouds and light rain roll in this afternoon. The weather here can create some dramatic images. It sounds like it is really raining down in the Front Range. The mountain looks really good. The grass and brush is green and high.

Pardon the ignorance but what do I need to hike around there?

Hiking around here is easy. At the end of the asphalt walkway in the base area is the Argentine North Fork trailhead. It is a beautiful 1.8 mile walk to mid-mountain and Black Mountain Lodge. From there you can walk up the summer road to the Summit or the top of Pallavicini Lift. If you are very adventureous and like off-trail hiking, there are all kinds of opportunities

With all this rain and the heavy snowpack the reservoirs should be full. Does this mean that the amount of water for snowmaking should be good for next season?
