I don't care if we lose to Loveland or Wolf Creek, just beat Keystone and Breck for opening day. Actually, just beat everyone!

Will that make the white stripe?

@Ed

I'm not sure if I'm going to buy an Abasin pass (or just have a couple friends extend me access to friend tickets on their passes), but I heartily concur that The Legend needs to beat the pants off Keystone. Between the B.S. 'late season' at Breck, and the move to position Keystone as early season, Vail declaring war on independent ski areas like Abasin and Loveland makes me sick.

@RaflW Healthy competition is great for everyone. There is no war. It is just Vail Resorts recognizing that people want a long ski season and making some changes! Great news for all. Opening day and July 4th were insane at the Basin and I'm super happy Vail Resorts is lengthening their season. And Breck in June was awesome this season but it was an unusual year. We'll see about 2020.

I agree, ABasin, Key, Breck, all being open early/late season is a great thing -- traffic distribution. I want them all to be successful because I love them all, but I (and I think everyone else) prefer ABasin when its not overrun by crowds.

Yes! The big guys can learn a thing or two from A-Basin. I'm super excited for the season!

Less crowds and epics with an attitude will be welcome. Looking forward to snow on the stake so the comments turn to why there is no ruler.
