Thankful

I hope everyone had an excellent Thanksgiving with friends and family. I have to say that I’m very thankful for the best staff a ski area could ask for. I have spent more than 30 years and countless holidays with some of them. Every year Chef Rybak and his team makes sure that everyone who works at A-Basin has the opportunity to have the full turkey and gravy extravaganza with all the extras. So many groups of close friends and even families have evolved out of meeting and working at the Basin over the decades. Really nice to see those traditions grow year after year.

The skiing was pretty great, too. Bluebird skies all day yesterday and now more snow is on the way. Check out our Black Friday pass special on the website. Today is also Slide into the Weekend with $20 lift tickets from 2-4 PM.

The basin does have the best people in the industry! And they also have the industry's best COO. Happy Turkey Week to all!

Love the Basin! BUT, very disappointed you won't extend the Black Friday sale to folks who already bought passes. You are now offering a 4-day pass for the same price I paid for a 3-day pass. That's the price I pay for loyalty (34 years) to ABasin?

@AmyColorado Are you going to ask for your money back for your car as well after the dealership had a flash sale 3 months after you bought it? Sometimes that's the way it goes with sales. Or you can go over to Vail and pay double what you paid and pay to park than stand in lift lines all day.

Guess you should've waited for the sale

Dude, it's not really fair to be mad that you missed a sale

34 years of skiing in Colorado and you don't know how it works. The best deals of the year are during the Labor Day weekend. I got 5 days for $199 back then. Guess it pays to understand how the industry works. Better luck next year. Meanwhile enjoy the days you have.Make "um" count!

I spent Thanksgiving with my sons on Humbu. Dercum's Gulch and the top of wrangler
We had buffalo stew at the midway. It was the best thanksgiving ever.
