The full moon has been shining brightly on The Basin.
Today was the first public skiing of the season on Pali. The Ski Patrol organized some directed skiing from Main Street to Pali Face. Skiers and riders saw highly variable snow. Despite that, they were "skiing Pali." We will continue to do this intermittently, slowly packing the snow down. New snow, ski it up, pack it down, repeat. Steep terrain is rarely perfect from the start. This kind of work and play sets up steep terrain for great conditions.
