40 Years of A-Basin Ski Patrol Directors

A-Basin Patrol Directors From Left to Right: Tim Finnigan 2000-2005, Tony Cammarata 2005-present, Jim Gentling 1978-1984, Tom Gross 1998-2000, Terry Pfeiffer 1986-1988, Patrick O'Sullivan 2005-2010, Jaime Seifert 1984-1986, Alan Henceroth 1988-1998.

We have had a bit of a Ski Patrol reunion going on at the Basin this week. Yesterday, seven of the eight Ski Patrol Directors over the last 40 years were skiing it up. As you can imagine, there has been a fair bit of laughing and good times.

Alan, would you say that the atmosphere concerning the mountian has become more or less prevalent over time?

Can I surmise from the outfits that four of the eight still work there? Amazing. A-Basin is the best.

Thanks for hosting us Big Al! Thanks for the beach space and thanks to Grunt for organizing the thing. Seeing all of those folks sure stirred up some great memories of great times. The mountain is skiing supremely as always and the vibe there is unmatched by any mountain in the state! Thanks again! Your friend, Campo

having worked for 5 of you guys, i must admit that you all still look pretty good - except for that Tommy G guy, man he's lost alot of weight - his legs are practically non existent.

Who was there in the 70's? I skied there a lot in the late 60's and 70's. Was it all volunteer back then? The Basin has come a long way!
