Season Pass and Elevation Any Day Pass - Buy Before September 5

If you are reading this blog and still haven't bought some kind of pass for this coming season, now is the time. Our season pass is the only unlimited, unrestricted way to ski The Basin. The pass also includes 3 days at both Taos and Monarch. New this year, we also have Elevation 2, 3, 4 and 5 Any Day Passes if you plan on being here just a few days. On top of that, the Ikon and Mountain Collective Passes offer all kinds of great ski opportunities.

The real point of the message is to encourage you to buy now. Prices go up September 5. The earlier you buy, the lower the price.  The season pass price will move from $449 to $499. Check out our website for details on the products.

Your Transferrable 4-Pack price really isn't good when compared to the ski area just over the pass.

$239 vs. $159

@Anonymous Then by all means ski at the place on the other side! Depends on what you are looking for I guess. If you have skied both you know there is a big difference in the experience, esp. with the new terrain and improved lift system at the Basin, while still retaining the friendly home-town ski area feel.

And then there is the skunky stench factor. A few seem to like it. I don't and seek places to ski without it, or less of it at least.

The ski area over the pass hasn't spent millions putting in new lifts, terrain, snowmaking, and facilities for us to enjoy now have they? OK one new lift. But if you don't think A-bay is worth an extra 80 bones over 4 days I don't know what to tell you.

If this pic of the gullies is not worth the price difference, what is?

Your online store is down. All us last minute shoppers must have crashed the system :(
