It Was a Good Friday

It has been a really nice Friday.  I toured the hill for a couple hours this morning. Made a bunch of turns in that perfect snow, the kind that is firm underneath with 1" of summer slush on top. I saw one big old mountain goat on top of Little Lenawee Peak.  The lift ops were spreading good cheer.  Lake Reveal was, well, Lake Reveal.  It looked cold.  We had a couple of quick showers move through during the day.  The forecast Saturday and Sunday shows no clouds with highs in the 60's.  Every guest I bumped into seemed really happy and thankful to be getting a June ski day in.  Good fun.

What did the season total snowfall for A-Basin end up being? The distribution of the snow definitely seemed to be weighted toward the Spring days (Apr, May)!

It was a great Friday!!!
I took on Lake Reveal for the first time. The first time I got pretty soggy, but the second and third times I skimmed all the way across.

Thanks for a great 12-13 season!
And here's to a great 13-14!
