Argentine North Fork Trail

Yesterday I went for a late afternoon cruise up the Argentine North Fork Trail to Black Mountain Lodge. The trail is in great shape and the place is really "greening" up.  I was surprised at how many flowers were already blooming.  Beautiful time of day to be on the hill.

Don't forget this Sunday, July 7 is the Summit Challenge Trail Run.  Whether you do the Mid-Mountain Division Run, the Summit Division Run, or just come up for music and BBQ, come join us.  The Black Mountain Express Chairlift will run from 10 AM to 3 PM and local band, High 5, starts playing at 11 AM. Hanging out at Black Mountain Lodge in the summer is pretty cool.

What are the rules for summer access to the mountain when there is no formal event going on?

Sounds lovely, however we can't make it from WI in tome to enjoy this with you. What is planned for the week of Aug 18?

The mountain is open for access throughout the summer. There are sometimes small specific closures for construction, but those are rare. If in doubt, call ahead.

The last summer event is the Brunch at Black Mountain Lodge on August 11. Nothing formal planned the week of August 18, but come on up for hike on the Argentine North Fork Trail.
