North Glade Fall

Last night the sun was just right to illuminate North Glade. "Kong Rock" is the big cliff at the top. Always one of my favorite ski runs, North Glade is a very special A-Basin run.

Mr. Henceroth,
My name is Mike DeLoney and I am on the Coloradotography board. We take unique shots of resorts and summits using drones and small aircraft. I am a huge fan of the Basin and I am advocating that we take some shots of the Loveland Pass/A-Basin area! Our shots are featured throughout the country and I would love to share them with you on this blog! Due to FAA USC. 14 you cannot prohibit this, so you mind as well have a great time along with us!

That is certainly a unique approach.........

Mr Deloney, pretty sure you need a USFS permit for filming.......even if you are on the board.

Thank you Anons... I happen to be on the primary U.S. Forest Service board for the Colorado Sector west of Interstate 25. So we do have full permission to film. I was simply telling Alan, as a friend.

Seems like there could have been a more appropriate way to relay that you're taking video and there's nothing he can do about it than in the public comments of a unrelated blog post...

You know what really sucks about drones: If everyone had one, there'd be thousands and the whole outdoor experience would be ruined. F drones. They suck and are an extrapolation of the narcissistic mentality pervading society. Why the hell do you think anyone out there wants to see or hear your drone/drones? Please, for the love of the outdoors, humanity, and all things supposedly compassionate; leave the drone at home.
