Spectacular Morning

And then some mornings, like today, are just spectacular.

Was there today, and it was indeed a beautiful spring day. The snow stayed winter-like firm for most of the day until about 2pm where it softened way up at the bottom. For most of the morning, the snow looked like slush, but it was still hard and frozen. Anywhere above High Noon, you could ski winter-like snow with a touch of fresh powder on top! While the storm didn't come through with the high forecasted totals, the ~4 inches dropped will for sure help prolong the season! My money is on the weekend of June 18th for the lifts to finally stop... Any other guesses?

Photo was taken near the West Wall Saddle looking West towards The Beavers. Not sure whose track that is.
