Wildlife Surveys

Each year Colorado Parks and Wildlife does aerial surveys of mountain goats and bighorn sheep. For several years the agency has used the Last Chance Parking Lot for staging and helicopter refueling. Their team did the surveys Thursday monitoring areas above timberline between Loveland and Boreas Passes. As always, we are glad to help these guys any way we can. Plus, it looks kind of fun.

I absolutely love the wildlife in Colorado. As a Rhode Island native, I make a point to travel to Colorado every winter and summer to explore and see the wild animals. Very unique place, unlike anywhere else. Looking forward to my trip this winter, as well as two or three days of skiing at the Basin. Keep up the good work, Al!
