20 F Wet Bulb

Now that was a good night. We had a few more inches of snow. The temperature dropped another 10 degrees after dark. The snowmakers have their system operating at near capacity. The forecast looks very promising. The Basin is a snowy, cold place this morning.

Snowfall is going to vary all over the mountain depending on wind and other factors. Why do you need a ruler in one location?? It either snowed or it did not :)

Dear Bone heads, ditto.

Amazing how this appalls people, have you seen any other snowstake by other ski areas? The majority have units of measure against the snow. Love the internet, morons with an opinion from their mom's basement.

It's amazing how funny you are. I'm sure your mom appreciates having her 30 year old son living at home.

Al has addressed this numerous times. Anyone who's been around for a bit knows this, hence the responses.

Sincerely,
A moron with an opinion from his moms basement

Fair enough. I would still disagree with Al on this one. His post essentially is in jest that we don't need a measurement stake. If your anonymous point is that A-basin and it's legendary skiers are somehow above that, why have a snow stake cam at all? Why then put your overnight snow total on the website for all to see, but act like asking for a unit of measure on the snow stake is absurd? If this attitude of here it is, take it or leave it is what they are going for. Stop reporting your totals at all then, go all in because clearly you need a step ladder to get on your high horse.

well we need to know the daily total so we can decide which ski to use from our 9 ski quivers, gotta pick the perfect ski to shred high noon on and all the other blues, with our summit snow bros.
