Snowiest Morning Yet

We had some snow last night. I think this is our snowiest morning so far. The temperatures were not quite cold enough to make snow. We should see a little more snow today and we should have good snowmaking temperatures tonight. This ought to be a good week.

Thats awesome! What is the ideal temp range for making snow?

I check now and then and all summer the website has said the upcoming temps will be 61 and 64. Now you've got a pile of snow on the stake but are reporting 0 inches received. Better let the webmaster know winter is here and that the snow is falling.

Did y'all even finish putting your lift up?

The drought affected streamflows may make it difficult to keep the snowmaking reservoir full, and throttle snowmaking when the reservoir needs to refill. Opening day might be a bit further out than you might expect.
