Thank You

It was a good closing day. Considering conditions, I think today was the right day to shut her down. The skiers enjoyed the sunshine (The weather yesterday was a little rough). The mountain goats kept an eye on everyone from their perch on Little Lenawee Peak. The Ski Patrol just got off the hill. A few stragglers are finishing their lunch and a beverage out on the deck.

The times have been weird. Thanks to all of you that stuck with us. It has been one for the record books. I am looking forward to a good summer. Enjoy and savor the summer. It will be October before we know it.

There is so much for us to talk about. Peace and thank you.

As the strangest ski season we have had comes to a close and we have a new demon in our lives, it was nice to get a little bit of the world we all love to finish this season. Hopefully by October we will have a handle on this and next year will be more normal for all. I would like to thank the Legend for going the extra mile to allow us to safely ski a little more and have hope for the future. Thanks to all who followed the rules and did the right thing. It shows how we can handle anything put in front of us. See you all on the slopes in the fall. And remember that Black lives matter! Peace

No, thank you! Getting one last chance to be out in the fresh air and make turns after being cooped up for months means more than you can imagine.

Given the small number of visitors each day, and the priority that was given to passholders, reopening was almost certainly a money losing venture.

But THANK YOU for having the courage and kindness of heart to give a lucky few a bonus day on the slopes.

Can't wait for next season!

I'd also like to thank you for having the courage to take on the challenge to reopen. Jason's comments above express my feelings as well. So great to get a day in after having the season cut so abruptly short. Thank you so much.

Thanks for reopening and showing the county/state/world/ski industry that skiing will be back. The strangest ski season that any of us can remember.

Hopefully next season we are in a much better spot.
The only season in past 25 years I didn't get to ski the 'Basin.

Keep doing what you do. Keep up the blog, by far the best in the industry.

We will enjoy the summer, but lets reboot, and take a mulligan and get ready for a good 20-21 season.

The Basin’s reopening gave us all hope that soon things will get better. Next season may not be the way it used to be, but as long as it snows and the bullwheels turn, it will give many folks a very valuable escape. Thanks, Al and all the Crew.

Thanks Al! I feel blessed to have been picked to ride closing day. It was a great day and much needed. Til October!

Thanks for the encore season! We know it took a lot of work -- pushing the snow around, making up new rules to keep things sane -- to make it happen.

Thank you Al and all of your team there. Epitome of that "never give up" mountain spirit. Please stay healthy and hope to see you next season.

As the snow melts and the rocks start to show, I wonder if we will get via-ferrata this summer. Sure hope so!!

Well done, Al, to you and your staff. I was fortunate to get 2 days in and was thankful to be up there in our beautiful Colorado mountains. Yes, the goats were looking over their domain and did a good job monitoring us visitors! It was a great way to celebrate spring time!

Thanks Al. Even though I was 0-fer on the drawings and didn't get to ski, I understand that not everyone could be accommodated and I commend you guys for going to extraordinary lengths to make the process as fair as possible even as some so called loyal customers whined and complained. Hope to see you next season.

Al, is up hill access open after the resort is closed for the season? Do you need an uphill pass, are there any restrictions? - Thanks

Al, is uphill access now allowed to everyone? Thanks!

Chris, you are someone who should have gotten to go because you are happy for those who did. If more people were like you the world would be a better place. I hope you have powder every day next season.

Al, thank you and your staff for everything you did. I got one day in, and it was so great to be skiing again! With most people skiing on passes, you must have lost money on the whole thing. But it kept us loyal to the mountain. Thank you, thank you.

Thank you Al for opening. I was fortunate to have been chosen. It was outstanding to get in a few more turns. I only hope you were able to cover your Variable Operating Costs. See you in October!
