This wasn't just a great day for November, it was a flat out great day any time of year. Thanks to all of you that helped with the grueling "compaction" duty today. New trail openings included Norway Face, Norway Mountain Run, Slalom Slope, North Chute, Powderkeg, Grizzly Road, Scudder, Challenger, and Radical.

That terrain looks just like my home up there in A-lazka. We mama grizzlies love our powder and being free.
Better to be up here skiing powder than wrestling in Washington with those liberal elites...you betcha.
When will uphill access be allowed? Thanks!
Uphill Access Update
Hey Mike,
Your timing is impeccable. Starting tomorrow, Friday, November 19, Uphill Access will only be closed from approximately 6 AM to 9 AM. During those hours, there is high speed alpine race training going on. The early morning race training will continue through early December.
We will occassinally close uphill access for avalanche control and/or special events. We want uphill travelers to enjoy the mountain. It is important to remember that skinners and snowshoers need to follow the same rules as downhill skiers and stay out of closed areas. Personally, I skin up about once a week after work and love it.
Enjoy yourself.
