Sundance Progressing Nicely

The snowmakers have been on Sundance for two nights now. Progress is going extremely well. With the cold evening temperatures, they have made some very large snowmaking whales. Look for that trail to open towards the weekend. Next step will be Molly Hogan with a targeted opening of November 19. After Molly, they are off to the Treeline Terrain Park which is scheduled to open between mid-December and Christmas. In between they will be filling a few nooks and crannies like Tower 3 Pitch and Burt's Bypass.

Al: just curious, where are tower 3 pitch and burt's bypass?

Tower 3 Pitch is the slope containing Tower 3 of Norway Lift. Burt's Bypass cuts the corner to the left as you are approaching the bottom of Lenawee Mountain Lift from Black Mountain Lodge.

Thanks for the update Al. I'm coming out to CO for a wedding this weekend and skiing somewhere on Fri, but I need a green for the kids. Please keep us up to date on Sundance. Thanks!

Al- What is the criteria to open uphill access? Not pushing it but just wanted to get an idea of when we can hit the skins. The sunrise at the Basin is always a beautiful thing!
