Mountain Views and Access
Check out the photo Scott Carlson sent me today. This morning he skinned up to the Summit. The mountain is open for public access for skinning or hiking. It is very different now from when we were open. Some snowcat work has been done and the summer road has been plowed. If you do go up, enjoy yourself, but be very careful with the conditions.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I want to be clear on this. During the summer, I can go hiking on the mountain and it is completely free and I will not be charged with trespassing or otherwise get into trouble? I ask because I can see some awesome hikes around the mountain. Thanks.
I did a couple laps on the lower mountain today. I have to say...the snow is better now than when you closed! It's really pretty cool, having the whole place to yourself. Thank you for making this opportunity available to us all.
Hey Mike the Bulldog,
Hiking in the summer is open and free. You may encounter a construction or maintenance project with a small temporary closure. We may be doing an event or a wedding or race somewhere that may occupy some terrain, but generally speaking, the mountain is available to the public
