Lots of smiles out there today.  Had my first crepe of the season at Black Mountain Lodge, The New Yorker, pastrami and red potato salad.  Delicious.   Plenty of good soft snow out there.  Humbug is always a treat.  Any direction that the wind blows lays a soft sweet layer on that trail.  This time of year Humbug is some entry level couloir skiing.  A narrow gully, but not so steep.  Really fun to ski.

Hey Al, today was awesome! Great weather and great snow. I really enjoyed the soft bumps in and around the lawnee parks area. I have been waiting for some terrain to open up before i started my season so today was my first day. I am blown away by how good the terrain was considering the year we have had. I guess that means you guys are doing an awesome job packing and prepping runs. Thanks for everything!
