Next Terrain Park Moves

We are getting ready to work on our next big terrain park move.  Some of you might recall that 2 years ago we built a park just below the top of Black Mountain Express.  It was a huge hit and was almost always busy. Last year unfortunately, with snowmaking water being tight, we did not build it. This year we are bringing it back. We will spend the second half of November making snow there followed by several days of feature building. DQ, Tyler, and Nate are hard at work on the design. Look for it the 1st or 2nd week of December.

Things are looking great, Al. Thanks for all the wonderful updates regarding snowmaking. Not a big terrain park guy, but I distinctly recall High Divide. Always thought it was a cool location for a park, as IIRC, you could catch some tricks viewing from the Beach.

Can I read between the lines that you are going to use the snowmaking capacity to build jumps (in both parks) this year?

Rails and boxes are great, but jumps complete the picture.

Thanks Al.

We are still working on the designs for the next move and beyond. I know people are anxious for some more exciting stuff including jumps.

Jumps of 11/12 were GREAT.....12/13....well, there weren't any.

I agree that the jumps from 11/12 were great. I even got my 50 year old dad to hit them. They were a nice size and the Treeline park was much less intimidating than other parks in summit county. We were so bummed when there weren't any for 12/12
