It Has Begun

We are off to a terrific start. The temps starting dropping just after dark last night and the crew fired up. The overnight low was about 20 F at mid-mountain. For a few hours we had the system operating at maximum capacity. I walked Lower High Noon already this morning. In addition to what the snowmakers produced, there is a fair bit of natural stuff on the ground. Let's hope the forecast for a couple more cold nights holds true. Good, good, good start.

I live in Houston, TX, and A-Basin is my favorite place in the world. I look forward to hopping on here everyday and looking at the webcams, and your most recent pictures and posts. Thank you so much for updating this blog as much as you do. It helps me feel connected to my own little slice of heaven.

When will you start posting to the weather page? It would be nice to follow the temps and such.
Thanks.

Just curious about the stream flows are right now considering a cooler and wetter summer and fall?

What do the stream flows look like. How do the stream flow predictions for the water look like going forward?
