Watering

So after all the seeding, composting and mulching it is time to water the grass. Hiking up the Argentine / North Fork Trail, you may have to dodge or time your walk around a few sprinklers. We have planted native grasses and flowers with the intent of returning the base area vegetation to a more natural condition. Watering through dry periods will help speed this return. We look forward to having lush vegetation that retains water instead of shedding water.

As soon as I wrote about the monsoon 10 days ago, it stopped raining. Let's hope Mother Nature kicks in a few more rainy to give this re-veg a big boost.

Me thinks it won't be long till those watering hoses are replaced with snowmaking hoses and guns. I realize it is up to Mother Nature, but do you have a target opening day ?

Yes. Target opening day this year is August 12th.

Does A-Basin have water from Dillon, and/or are you using the snowmaking reservoir water for this?

At least wait until the Temps get below freezing before asking Al the single most hated question
