New Snow And Old Freestyle Skiers

The Basin ended up with 5 inches of new snow out of this past storm, 3 inches today and 2 inches yesterday. There was a strong wind blowing all day yesterday. For those savvy to the areas favored by the wind, there were "free refills" all day long. Today we are looking at sunny skies and temperatures in the 20's. The incredible conditions have brought out a few old freestyle skiers that still seem pretty dialed into their craft.

Skiing is a slowly dying sport. Sad, but true. These "old" freestyle skiers, while still impressive and interesting to watch, are rapidly being considered less intereresting as extremely aggressive, reckless young skiers. Someday, the sport of free style skiing will lose it's special "feel", and as a result it's most devoted fans. It truly is sad.

Skiing will always be awesome. You are wrong. It will change but there will always be people sliding down a mountain on wood sticks. It just depends on how.

Awesome picture, he definitely is still dialed into his craft. Who would that old freestyler be Al?

Please Define "old"

In this scenario let's define "old freestyle skier" as "former freestyle skier" keeping the age thing out of the discussion.
