Long Chute

The cat drivers did a major grooming job on Long Chute last night.  Absolutely incredible.  I got on the trail about 2 PM this afternoon.  The temperature was in the mid 30's F.  There was about an inch of soft snow on top.  I wouldn't really call it slushy.  It was just the first spring softening.  I think Long Chute might be the longest and most continuous and consistent trail at the ski area.  With the great grooming and the sun softened skin, it was just perfect.  Turn after turn after turn after..........
