Al, as a Brit on the far side of the pond, whose spiritual home is the Basin - gets there rarely yet follows your blog avidly - could you elaborate on "jonesing". Not a phrase I have come across before yet one you have used to describe queues at the gates for the East Wall.
Jonesing is slang for being "really, really excited for and/or desiring something." I don't think it is in the dictionary.
I haven't seen a post yet on drones, and what future you think they have with the resort
There's always the urban dictionary :)
Ex: I'm jonesin' for a Bacon Bloody
"we really have everything in common with america nowadays except, of course, language"
drones aint allowed! your footy isn't any good anyways
To the Anonymous Brit: from wanting to "keep up with the Joneses," or more colloquially, gettin' a hankerin' for somethin'--like a hankerin' for some rips in October!
