Last Day For Pali Lift

Today, Sunday May 14 will be the last day for Pallavicini Lift for the 2016-17 season. This is always a tough decision driven by many issues including avalanche concerns, skiability (not sure that is really a word) and the weather. The steep terrain accessible from the Top of Pali will also be closed. We have had a great season over there but, it is time to let her rest for the Summer.

We still have plenty of great skiing on the rest of the mountain. We have at least three more weeks left to be open.  The Front Side and Montezuma Bowl have a long ways to go. Don't miss the fun.

Hey Al! Thanks for the update, I was there yesterday and glad I got to ride the Pali one more time this season. Do you know if Pali face is open today? Also, I'm curious on the timing of Pali's replacement. Are you looking at Summer of 2019 or further out? Or still not decided? I want to make sure I get to ride that old chair for as long as I can. Thanks! - Mike

Al wrote that pali steep terrain is also closed.

What are the chances of re-opening Pali for the weekend with the anticipated colder weather? I think you did that last year or two years ago after wet slab conditions subsided.

I don't want to build any false hopes but, we will be paying attention to changing conditions the next several days.

Today the website has some runs open off Pali Chair -- Slalom Slope, Standard, Exhibition, International. Is that correct? Looks like cold weather and snow coming in. See you Thursday
