May 21 Ski Lap

With all the excitement of the last few days, I don't think we talked enough about how really special and outstanding the skiing was, especially for mid-May. Yes, we had about 2 feet of snow. We have had prime, mid-winter conditions. Today I made an awesome lap around the ski area skiing The Spine, 3rd Alley, West Wall, Long Chute in Zuma Bowl, hiked North Pole and skied East Vertical Cornice and then finished the tour with a Willy's hike and a ski down Booger.  That may have been my last pass of the season through the Snorkel Door.  It was a good one.

This is reference to the verizon comment..if I remember correctly, the Basin had att install a repeater somewhere at the top of the mountain...in hopes of better coverage

One of the beauties of the basin is lack of coverage! Please keep Verizon and ATT outta there...we need to have at least one place left to escape to...Spacin' at the Basin!!!
