That Looks Like a Ski Trail

A-Basin Snowsports Instructor, Andrew Greene, took this photo this morning. I would say High Noon is starting to look like a ski trail. The last couple days of snowmaking have been even better than I was expecting and the forecast later in the week is improving. It is still too early to pick an opening date, but you can start dusting off the skis and snowboards.

Unbelievable for 10/7

Al,

I've been stalking the webcams for the past couple weeks and I noticed the A-Basin Divide Cam has been out-of-focus for a while (seems to be focused on the foreground rather than the landscape). I hope someone can fix that soon (or at least get up there with a pair of glasses for the webcam); I am itching for HD views of the top of the Basin!

It's pretty normal for Abasin. Also check out the videos from northern Montana. There were skiing 4 feet of fresh last week.

No Montana resort is open, even after that storm

With the snow and cold temps coming this weekend expect for opening day sometime next week! Hell even keystone could probably open after this weekend.

No one said the resorts are open... they are riding powder lines.. why do you need to be in a resort to ski?
