Looks like it's all ready for a solid month or so of riding before the end of the season!

Woooop woooooop bang bang boom boom, in the words of Henrik Harlaut let's shred this mountain!!!! Can't wait to hear the good news, A-Basin is open!?!?! Can't wait for may 25th to find out!!!!

Why don't you offer the Gov a free Pali chair if he lets you open up?

Fire those chairs up on the 25th of May! Live in faith not fear. Your not gonna catch corona 19 outside at 10,000 feet elevation. If your scared to ski stay home or wear a mask in the liftlines. With the intense UV rays and low density air at Arapahoe its way safer than walmart. Now is the time to get things rollin and learn about this new world we live in. What you gonna do never ski again ? No way bro! Ski to live ski to die.

What a tease.
Those lines look mighty fine.
Let's ride!

Summit county health order closes ski areas until May 31. They will not be opening on the 25th.

Exactly Jordon. And even if the Gov gives the all clear they can still extend it. Maybe they could amend the order and open before the 31st.

Everyone wants to be safe, but what is the Summit county health order and does this order have legal authority? Just asking.

It seems to me Al has painted himself in a corner that will take an act of Houdini to get out of. Backlash if you open and backlash if you don't. There is no way I can see a highly intelligent COO face the backlash of opening given what would happen.

I think we owe some thanks to Al for keeping the stoke alive well after he knew darn well re-opening would be out of the question. Since we can't ski The Legend, he allowed us to keep dreaming about skiing The Legend.

See you in October with plexiglass installed on the lift chairs making three seaters into two, face coverings, temperature checks upon arrival, and who knows what else...

It is all unconstitutional BS. Kiss your freedom goodbye sheeple. We have quarantined the healthy and not protected the vulnerable.

Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." We are all getting what we deserve.

Look at the webcam at the goat plaza. It appears they are putting up a fence with a one way opening. It appears the posts could be 6 feet apart. When I was living in Louisiana during Hurricane Rita our plant manager went to local emergency planning meetings after the hurricane. He would come back and inform us of what was going on and many times he shared information that the news media did not announce for several days. It is possible that he goes to the same type of meetings and things are shared that the general public might not know about for some time. He maybe showing how he plans to open up safely. It is possible if he does Summit County will let him open. Just food for thought.
