Al, You and Kay should make eights all the way down. It is a shame for all of that snow to go unused! Hahaha

A resort in both CA and OR has reopened. Hopefully we'll see some of the same at A-Basin soon!

Mt. Baldy, California is closed for the season and their last day open was Sunday, May 3, 2020. They had too much warm weather to try and keep their reopening going any further into spring. Timberline Ski Area in Oregon is trying to reopen but is not completely sure that they will be able to get back open for late spring and summer skiing and riding. It looks like there is a better than 50% chance they will reopen.

Al - Nice gesture on the pass decrease price for '19/'20 passholders plus the A-Basin Promise if you guys cannot open next year. $349 is a screaming deal!

How absurd that A-Basin even needs to address the possibility of not opening next season. I hope that promise is pure marketing to calm and uneasy pass buyer, and not a real concern. SKI BUM has it correct above, "Facts over Fear and Stay Home if you're uncomfortable". Give and inch and they will take a mile. NEVER AGAIN should be your dominant thought!

Time to open her up

As I recall A-Basin operates under permit from the Forest Service/US government. This is great protection for loyal customers and hopefully won’t be needed. Fact: The ski area is currently closed by State orders. This isn’t Georgia.
