Stormy Morning

This is one of those eerie, stormy, mountain mornings. It looks like Colorado may be in for some exciting weather the next couple of days, run-off is in full flow and we are getting ready to re-open. The snowcat crews have been working the last couple days to get the place ready again. The Lower Mountain trails are a bit narrower and there won't be quite as much available down there. The Upper Mountain still has great coverage. I am expecting three days of action packed ski fun.

Rumor has it there may be a wet area developing on Lake Reveal.

Al, you do a great job with this blog, it keeps things personal and up close with your readers and followers. Thanks to you and your crew for another great season (especially late!) this year....and remember, in ten days the days start getting shorter, back to winter we go!

If you were a betting man, would you bet on being open July 4th?

I'm in South Carolina and can't get back until next winter, but I love reading the Blog and wishing I was there. :-)
