A Very Snowy Morning

We had 6" of new snow at report time and another inch or two after that. We had a great night of snowmaking on Ramrod. Right now the snowmakers are pulling the snowmaking equipment off Ramrod. We are bringing in an extra snowcat operator tonight to doze the trail. If all goes well, we will have Ramrod Friday morning. Maybe not absolutely first thing, but Friday morning.

Tonight we will start making snow on Lenawee Face and Dercum's Gulch.

Oh yeah, the skiing was awesome this morning.

So nice to see a blanket of snow. Great news on the snow making, too. I hope the temps stay cold enough to get top-to-bottom skiing open soon. That crazy warm October had me worried.

I have read last years post about Lenawee Face and Dercum's Gulch and how hard it is to make snow thus taking longer to open. How is it looking up there? I was hoping for upper access by Sunday but I know that is a far stretch.

Had a blast yesterday, and actually crossed paths with you in the tunnel to the upper lot. Keep up the good work. The trail was very good for early season, and whoever had the idea to make 4 singles lines deserves a promotion. Definitely helps with the lines. Can't wait til Palli is open !
