Approaching A Foot

We reported 7 inches of new snow at 5 AM. It has snowed non-stop since then and it is still snowing heavily. With a strong forecast for today and tonight, we could have well over a foot of new snow by the time this storm is done. We will definitely have some treats for you today, tomorrow, the next day, the day after..........

The Goat Meter indicates heavy snowfall.

This is the Snowcam at 7:45 AM. It was cleared at 5 AM.

Mid-mountain, a bit East of Black Mountain Lodge.

No need to quantify snow depth. Do your own math.

I do appreciate and enjoy your blog. Honest and authentic and interesting. So much of what claims to be the inside scoop on ski area web sites is really just fresh marketing graduates saying the same old same old day after day.

The fish appearing on the snow stake means it's snowing.

Just because it hasn't snowed on the front range doesn't mean it's not dumping in Summit County. Can't wait to ride this weekend!!
