Bluebird Day

I was able to enjoy a bluebird day off at The Basin today. Crystal clear skies and cool temperatures with soft snow, we enjoyed a couple of laps out in The Beavers. We hardly saw anyone except at Rendezvous Point and the Hike Back. There is a lot of great skiing to be found in the gladed areas. As we have received more snow, the area is getting packed out and the skiing is getting better all the time.

Beavers skiing is awesome! The snow was soft, the north profile and trees will save this stash.
My marriage survived the hike out; she'll wait for the lift on a repeat. The imperial pint recovery was perfect.
The chutes look great.... lets get some big storms!

Bailey Bros was amazing on Sunday. Very little traffic out there. Untracked and pretty deep, soft snow from the top to the exit gate.

Sometimes I think it must be a drag to spend your days off at the place where you work. Then again that place is the Basin so probably not...

Never a drag to spend time here.
