Always liked how the final workout to the top thinned out some of the less dedicated and fit skiers, leaving Montezuma bowl to those willing to huff it up there.

The first thing that came into my mind was "defenition of laziness."

All you super dudes can continue to huff it. I'll take the tow... not because of ability, but because I save my energy for downhill skiing as opposed to uphill skiing.

It takes little energy to skate 50 yards.

I'm not ashamed to admit I'll be one of the 90% gratefully using the rope tow. From personal experience, I know that skating between lifts with bindings cranked up is a great way to risk a knee injury, not to mention the challenges of dodging walkers, boarders, and others slowly making their way uphill.

I never, never (well, hardly ever...) avoided going up to Montezuma Bowl, but I'm sure glad this is open!!!

First thing that came to mind when looking at the photo was it reminded me of the back wall at one of my kid's middle school dances.

Would you really call that little walk a "workout?"

What I like is how every time this is mentioned, there's 12 comments saying "I'll never ride that; I'm so awesome and cool I will still just skate it" for every 1 saying "that will make it more convenient."

But in the picture 12 people are riding and 1 is skating.
