WSBC

While these pictures are 2-3 weeks old, they are a reminder of the great hiking season we had up the Willy's Wide staircase. That is a lot of high quality skiing accessible from a simple (though difficult) hike and traverse. It is much bigger that it appears from below. Once you reach the very top of the staircase and move North on the traverse you cross Willy's Wide, Snorkelnose, Booger, and Corner Chute. All of these chutes offer excellent skiing and were especially good this season.

OHHHHH it stands for willie's, snorkel, booger, and corner. That took me longer than I'd like to admit. Great season up there though, a run I took down booger this year was probably the best of my life.

I might have had one of those also, at least the best run of the season.

Al, it seems there have been more East Wall hikers this year than ever before. Do you see that as an overall trend in the industry as ever more skiers & riders seek fresh lines? Any concerns outside of avy control?

Any chance these lines will reopen this season? I know beggars shouldn't be choosers but I never got a chance to hike up there this season and still want to if it's not too late. Thanks.

Would be great to have a surface lift of some kind installed here...

There's no way that's a serious comment.... (about the surface lift)
