Zuma Skiing

I found just fantastic skiing on Columbine, Upper Larkspur, and Shining Light in Montezuma Bowl today. We are going to hang on to this terrain as long as we can. With the soft snow, it is getting a little tricky for the snowcats to climb out of there. Today was the first real "summer-like day" that we have had in May. The snow and wet and cool weather has been good for the Earth, but I know today's sunshine brought out some smiles.

I'm glad ift was soft today, because it was more than a little chattery yesterday. Fun, but I was reminded of Vermont.

Skied the Zuma bowl today and it was outstanding for the last day in May!!! We'll be back again tomorrow for our last day of the season before heading back to Texas for the summer...after a record setting number of days on the slopes for us this year...134 for me and 136 for my hubby. Thanks to The Basin for letting us get in that last 20 or so days after everyone else closed ;o)

Holy cow, Barbie Doll. That's a ton of days on the mountain. Congrats to you & your husband. That's officially hard-core.

A friend & I skied lap after lap in Zuma Bowl from 9-11 Saturday. Could not believe how smooth & buttery it was. Can't ever remember it being so good so late in the season.
