A Little Bit of Snow Each Day
We have had 1-4" of new snow each of the last four mornings. The weather has been a mix of blue skies, scattered clouds, and lots of clouds. We have been having enough snow to freshen things up each morning. It makes for great light, great vistas, and great skiing. Looks like we will see a bunch of sun Friday and then the unsettled weather begins again Saturday. Let's think snow.

Buffed
Well the wind worked its magic with the new snow. Surf's up in 3rd Bowl, The Spine, The Face, and the Rock Garden. Skiing like velvet. It was one of those days when the snow is better each run. Nice steady wind filling in the Basin. I think I skied "3 Last Runs" on the North Side before I finally headed back to the office. Very nice.

Day Off - 4" New
Always good to get 4" new on a forecast of 1/2". Throw in the perfect wind and life is good. Had a great day off skiing Pali. Lots of very soft snow. The wind was blowing the new snow around just right continually filling in 2nd Bowl, 3rd Bowl, The Spine, and The Face. With all that loose snow and these winds look for that magically velvet snow to show up in the upper reaches of Pali. You know what I am talking about.
