Summer Peak

I think we are at the peak for summer wild flowers and an all around general, green, warm, summer feel. Be sure and visit for a bike ride or a hike or a bite or a drink.

I think we are at the peak for summer wild flowers and an all around general, green, warm, summer feel. Be sure and visit for a bike ride or a hike or a bite or a drink.

Bike Race Finish

The USA Pro Challenge Stage 2 Finish August 18 is drawing near. Racers are going to have a very big 2nd day climbing Rabbit Ears Pass, Ute Pass, and the final ascent up to The Basin. As racers reach Arapahoe, they will ride into the the High Noon Parking Lot exit lane and finish up near the big yellow "Exit" sign. Since this drive had just a few potholes, we paved it this summer. That paving was on our list of projects already so we used the race as a driver to bump it up a year or two.
