Snowmaking Update
Well, not much to update on the weather, unless you are into beautiful biking weather. I had a very nice mountain bike ride out behind the house this morning. It looks like we have several more very sunny, warm days in front of us. We continue to be poised and ready to make snow. When the time comes, we will jump. The temps just need to drop. Stay tuned and enjoy these spectacular fall days.

More Testing and Training
OK, it wasn't cold enough to make it stick, but we blew the pipes out a bit more today. We were testing and training with the new stick guns on Lower Ramrod. All systems are ready and waiting for that mercury to drop.

Moonlight Dinner Tip
This post really is a tip. It is not just a sales pitch. Since October 1 we have been taking reservations for the Moonlight Dinners. Half of the available seats, going all the way into April, have already been reserved. The January dinner, "A Night In Italy" is booked out. The December Randonee Dinner, "A Night In France" is close to being full.
My message is pretty simple. These dinners are so much fun and they book out, so if you are interested, be sure and make a reservation soon. And if you want to attend the December Randonee Dinner, book today.

Getting Closer
Coldest night yet. The rain turned to snow and the snowline went all the way down to the Base Area. At 6 AM the dry bulb temperature was 31 F and the wet bulb temperature was 29 F. Those may be the coldest temps we have seen so far. The place looks beautiful this morning. Snowmaking is getting closer.
