It is a beautiful Christmas Eve at Arapahoe Basin. Again, the sun is out and the sky is blue. Everyone is in good spirits and enjoying the day. In about an hour we will be celebrating the Arapahoe Basin 65th Anniversary. That involves Chef Rybak cake and a few other goodies. My friend, Dave Pines, sent a very nice holiday email along with his five favorite photos from 2010-11 (you can tell Dave likes hiking the East Wall). All of us at The Basin are thankful for being able to work in such an extraordinary place in such a fine community with so many wonderful people.
