Upper Wrangler

Upper Wrangler is the long, wide, very flat area just below the bottom of Lenawee Lift.  We commonly call it "The Landing Strip" because it feels big enough and flat enough to land an airplane.  It is a great ski trail for kids with stunning views of Lenawee and Black Mountains.  Without snow, it is a big wetland area with willows so thick it is fairly difficult to walk across.  During the summer it is an excellent place to spot deer in the late afternoon.  Right now you can see a hint of fall in the willow leaves.
