Our first Black Mountain Lodge Moonlight Dinner of the season will be "A Night In Bavaria" December 14. Not only does it celebrate German food and culture, but there are some other unique and fun things about the dinner. This is the only dinner that the chairlift DOES NOT run. You have to skin, snowshoe, or hike to Black Mountain Lodge. It is also the only dinner we allow people to ski down. This evening is especially popular with our local and very active community.
It may seem odd that I am making a post about this December 14 dinner on November 7. Well, this morning I received my daily sales report and the dinner is filling quickly. Half of the reservations are taken and 17 were made last night. So, if a little exercise and a great Northern European meal sounds appealing to you, I suggest making your reservation soon.
